“My name is Aria Psyllou, I am 20 years old, I was born and raised in Athens and I am in the 3rd year of my studies at the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. For this academic year, I have the honour of serving as Vice President for Professional Development of ELSA Komotini.
Beginning my journey in the association last year as a Specialised Collaborator in the Professional Development Area, I realised that its magic lies precisely in its ability to turn the uncertainty about “what comes after graduation” into a springboard for exploration, development and creation.
A year later, as Vice President, I take on the challenge of contributing to the next page of this journey. I envision an Area that is constantly evolving, open to innovation and initiative, responding to the demands of an ever-changing legal reality and to the needs of the student community.
And this effort cannot be anything but collective. Together with my team, we will work so that meaningful networking with the legal market remains firmly grounded and, at the same time, lively and adaptable.
With the thought that each new year finds ELSA different, staffed by new people who will leave their mark with their own perspective, I too take up my term, eager for the next chapter of Professional Development and of ELSA Komotini to be written.”
