My name is Eirini Kataki, I am 20 years old, and in the third year of my studies I have the particular pleasure of serving as Vice President for Seminars & Conferences of ELSA Athens.
My journey in ELSA began in my very first weeks at the Faculty, when I was selected as a Specialised Collaborator in the S&C Area, and I then continued as Co-Head of this Group’s one and only project, SELS. Over these two years, I had the chance to see up close how an idea can become a whole activity, an activity an experience, and a team something far more than mere collaborators.
My vision for this year is activities that are accessible to everyone, interdisciplinary and truly interactive. I want us to make the most of the Area’s potential and go beyond the established, without the high academic standard becoming a limit to our creativity. To make room for new, seemingly impossible ideas and, above all, for a team that will dare to make them a reality.
Because, when nothing is given, we build our vision ourselves.
