“Dear network,
My name is Elena Konstantinidou, I am a fourth-year student at the Aristotle Law School, and I also have the pleasure and honour of serving as Treasurer of ELSA Thessaloniki this academic year.
My journey in the Organisation began by taking part in the organisation of the 9th Summer School in the Fundraising area; a random choice that was nevertheless destined to set me on a new, creative path.
Last year I had the good fortune to serve as a Specialised Collaborator in the areas of Financial Management and Social Responsibility at the local and national groups respectively. Within this company of young people, I was transformed and discovered new facets of my abilities. The experiences I gained were a channel for understanding ELSA’s vision more deeply and instilled in me a thirst for contribution, which took shape in my decision to keep contributing, now in the position of Treasurer.
This year I envision an ELSA exactly like the one I came to love: open, with faith and self-sacrifice in helping develop the people who walk alongside us.
The Treasury is an essential foundation, supporting the edifice of both the quality of the activities and of the members. In harmony with sustainability, therefore, I seek to strengthen our outward-looking approach, with the aim of giving back tangibly to our members and society. Together with my collaborators, I hope we will leave our own mark on a community that, for as long as it breathes, blossoms.
Full of hope for a creative year with people I admire at my side, I look forward to every moment that will come and become one more story I will recall with emotion.”
