My name is Evelina Margariti, I am 21 years old, I was born and raised in Nea Makri and I am in the fourth year of my studies at the Athens Law School. This year I have the pleasure and honour of serving as Vice President for Professional Development of ELSA Athens.
My involvement with ELSA began from my very first steps at the Faculty, through activities and events that made me realise the dynamism of the Group. Last year, as a Specialised Collaborator in the Professional Development Area, I had the chance to take a more active part in organising activities, to come into contact with wonderful people and to gain experiences that will stay with me for life. Above all, though, I realised how important it is to have a team that devotes time and energy to creating meaningful opportunities for its members.
My goal for this year is for the Professional Development Area to be a living space of creation and cooperation, where every activity gives students the opportunity to come closer to the professional world, to be inspired and to grow. For me, ELSA is a space where ideas find a way to become action. And that is exactly what I want to keep cultivating through the Professional Development Area: experiences that last, skills that grow stronger and prospects that open up.
