My name is Ioanna Sapalidi, I am a fourth-year student at the NKUA Law School and this year I have the pleasure of serving as President of ELSA Athens.
My first contact with ELSA began in the second year of my studies when I was selected as Specialised Collaborator for Seminars and Conferences at ELSA Greece, and continued in the same position at ELSA Athens. My journey in the association, beyond valuable tools and skills, has given me countless experiences and, above all, people.
My two years of experience in the local and the national group have helped me understand the needs of ELSA Athens more fully, so that I can set the work of my predecessors as a foundation and, together with the rest of the Board, act in a coordinated and targeted way, with the main orientation of realising the vision and goals we have set for this academic year.
The pillars of my vision are the expansion of the network and reaching out to students from all academic years, while also securing valuable external partnerships.
My aim is an ELSA Athens that is socially aware, outward-looking and approachable to the student community as well as the legal world, distinguished by innovation, sustainability and a steadily rising course.
