Marianna Apospori

Vice President in charge of Marketing

My name is Marianna Apospori, I am 21 years old and I am in the fourth year of my academic studies at the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. Alongside my academic journey, this year I have the pleasure and also the honour of serving as Vice President for Marketing of ELSA Komotini.

My acquaintance and involvement with the association began as early as the second year of my studies, when I had the chance to be a Specialised Collaborator in the Marketing Area of ELSA Komotini. After a year of many wonderful activities, experiences and participation in organising committees, and of greater familiarity with the Area and the association in general, this chapter had come to an end for me, or rather, to be precise, that is what I believed… The following year I had the chance to continue my journey as a Specialised Collaborator in the Marketing Area at the national group, ELSA Greece, a particularly special experience for me. My knowledge developed and my contact with the Area shifted to a national level, this time.

ELSA, in my eyes, is an association made by students for students; a way of engaging with legal study and its various aspects, which at the same time combines the human factor, the human relationships that are created and evolve over time. These are the elements that sparked my interest and attention two years ago and were the starting point of my involvement with the Area and the network. Marketing, for me, is not simply the Area of image and promotion; it is the tool for showcasing the association’s aim and vision. It is, in a few words, a channel of communication with the public, combining creativity, discipline and aesthetics, through strategic promotion and innovation.

Thus, my priority for this term and my personal challenge is the meaningful development of the Area. Through communication, teamwork, originality and promotional planning, I therefore seek to spread the vision of ELSA Komotini even further to every student and future lawyer, to increase both the association’s visibility on online platforms and its human resources, while cultivating relationships and acquaintanceships that, why not, may even end up as real friendships. However, none of this can become reality without the staffing of the team of Marketing Specialised Collaborators, people whom I look forward to meeting, working with and interacting with in order to achieve this goal.
