We are pleased to announce that the Webinar Series of the 8th National Moot Court Competition is here!
The first webinar, on “Environmental law: the legal protection of the environment through the specific aspect of building law: unauthorised construction”, will take place on Sunday 20 March at 18:00, online via Zoom.
The speakers will be Mr Michail Pikramenos, Vice-President of the Council of State and Associate Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Mr Kyriakos Papanikolaou, Assistant Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace.
The second webinar, on “Inheritance law in contemporary reality”, will take place on Wednesday 23 March at 17:30, online via Zoom.
The speakers will be Mr Stamatis Koumanis, Assistant Professor of Civil Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Mr Christos Filios, Associate Professor of Civil Law at the Democritus University of Thrace.
The specific topics to be analysed are:
– The treatment of the minor heir &
– The protection of the heir from the debts of the estate
The third webinar, on “Problems surrounding sexual offences”, will take place on Monday 21 March at 18:30, online via Zoom.
The speakers will be Mr Ioannis Morozinis, Doctor of Criminal Law of the University of Munich and Special Scientist at the Democritus University of Thrace, and Ms Vagia Polyzoidou, Lecturer in Criminal Law at the School of Law of the University of Nicosia.
