We are pleased to announce that the 2nd National Negotiation Competition (ENC) will be held under the auspices of the Hellenic Mediators’ Association (EED).
The Hellenic Mediators’ Association is a not-for-profit association. It was founded in 2010 by 24 of the first Greek Mediators. Members of the Association may be Greek and foreign Mediators. The Association embraces and is open to all Mediators, organises seminars for Mediators who are members and non-members, as well as for non-Mediators interested in mediation. The Association has organised seminars with foreign and Greek trainers (Advanced Mediation, Mediation Advocacy, Negotiations in Mediation) and many mediation simulation workshops. It has also organised seminars at the Athens Bar Association, at the cultural centre of Kifissia, and at the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) (eplo.eu). It has taken part in and been actively represented at seminars of other bodies in Greece and abroad and at many seminars of the World Forum of Mediation Centers of the Union Internationale des Avocats (uianet.org), of which the one co-organised with the Association in Athens in March 2011 was considered by the Forum to be the most successful. Firmly believing in the importance of spreading the institution to those directly concerned, that is, to citizens, the Association organises information seminars in the Municipalities of the country.
