ELSA Greece has the great honour and pleasure to announce that 10 of its members were selected to staff the ELSA International Team for the academic year 2020/2021.
Many congratulations and we wish everyone a good and creative start to their duties!

So, after the application process following two calls for the #EIT, the following positions were filled by our members (many of whom are also current or former members of our Boards):

“It is a great joy and honour to have been selected to coordinate the pan-European legal research carried out within the STEP Research Project (SRP). I hope that with my contribution the SRP will not only cover the gaps that exist in STEP regarding labour issues, but will also be a useful and comprehensive legal research at international level.”

“Believing in the power that teams have and realising their essential contribution to creating a friendly and open environment, this year we will aim at the development, acquaintance and interaction of as many members as possible and at the development of interpersonal relationships within ELSA, but also outside it.”

“It is truly rare to work with people who share the same vision and the same values as you, as is the case with ELSA International, of which I am now glad to be an even more active member through a role that allows me to contribute meaningfully. The field of Human Rights has always had a special place in me and defending them is one of my greatest dreams. The position of Assistant for Human Rights is therefore a challenge for my personal development too.”

“It is a great pleasure for me to be a member of the ELSA International Team for this academic year in the position of Director for ELSA Law Schools, all the more so in one of my favourite projects of the Seminars and Conferences area.”

Pavlos Klagkos

“My selection as assistant for my favourite ELSA project, the Summer ELSA Law Schools, could not but thrill me. From this position, I can help national and local vice presidents of the area substantially during the difficult preparation of their SELS and also be by their side, guiding them on this demanding project throughout their whole term. Being the channel between the organising committees and ELSA, and always with a view to ensuring the quality requirements of the area, I am also looking forward to the substantive start, at last, of my term.”

Victoria Konstantinidou

“I am very happy to be now part of the ELSA International team and to be able to contribute to one of the biggest projects of the Seminars and Conferences area. My primary goal is to make ELSA Delegations more accessible to the student public and to the professional legal world at a time when holding international events is – if not impossible – particularly difficult. Even under these conditions, I am certain that we can bring young people closer to the world of diplomacy, weighing the risks and making use of all the means we have at our disposal.”

Long engagement and, of course, my love for ELSA and for the remarkable people who make it up drove my choice to contribute once again with enthusiasm and creativity.”
