A beautiful cycle ends, a new one begins! With the last issue of the Journal being published by the Editors-in-Chief, De Jure is getting ready for the next day!
Students interested in the positions of the Legal Journal of ELSA Athens, De Jure Journal ELSA Athens, are invited to send their CV, a short motivation letter and the position (or positions) they are interested in to the email address president.athens@gr.elsa.org by Wednesday 30 November 2020 at 23:59.
De Jure is published three times a year and hosts publications and studies by professors and students of the Athens Law School as well as Universities abroad on matters of private, public, criminal, international and European law. In addition, the journal hosts interviews with distinguished figures from the field of legal science.
The new structure of the Journal and the available positions are as follows:
- Editor-in-Chief: Responsible for
- Organising and finding editors
- The content and the academic side
- The theme of the journal
- The framework of the articles
- The cooperation of the editors
- Selecting professors and communicating with them about their contributions as well as their advice.
- Deputy Editor-in-Chief:
- Assists the Editor-in-Chief in their work
- Solely responsible for linguistic editing
- Publisher: Responsible for
- Handling the Journal’s administrative matters
- The publication of the journal
- Its printing
- Its promotion
- Liaising with the Board
- Its outreach
De Jure already counts 25 successful issues, as its first electronic pages saw the light of the internet in December 2008, when the bold but otherwise creative endeavour of composing and publishing a journal began.
