Here is ELSA’s Christmas present for you !!!
We are particularly pleased to announce that for the third consecutive year, following in the footsteps of the previous successful institutional visits, ELSA Thessaloniki is organising an Institutional Visit on 8-13 March 2020, for 30-35 people, to Brussels.
Specifically, we will have the opportunity to visit Brussels, the capital of Belgium and of the European Union. A city that is the heart of the European edifice, hosting the seats of a multitude of international organisations and leading institutional European bodies. We have already been in contact with the following, planning visits to each of them, so that we can be given tours, attend presentations and learn about their operation and work.
They will receive us on the following days:
· European Commission (09/03)
· Council of the European Union (09/03)
· European Parliament (10/03)
· Embassy of Greece in Belgium (10/03)
· NATO Headquarters (11/03)
· International Trademark Association (11/03)
– Also, on one of the days we will visit the ELSA House, where the presidium of ELSA International lives, for a pizza & beer night with lots of ELSA spirit.
– Furthermore, on 12/03 we will have a free day from institutional visits, so we suggest a one-day trip to the fairy-tale Belgian city of Bruges, one hour away from Brussels.
– As for air tickets, the suggested airline is Ryanair, with a direct return flight from Thessaloniki to Charleroi (Brussels).*
– As for accommodation, after research we have settled on the Smartflats Design – EU apartment hotel (6 days – 5 nights).*
*Due to the early call, the prices of both air tickets and accommodation will undoubtedly change by the time of the final collection of the money and the final number of participants. It is therefore quite difficult for us to cost the visit precisely. However, based on our experience and on the costed packages of travel agencies, we give you an indicative price. In particular, the price of the air ticket will be a GROUP price, confirmed by a travel agency.
The total cost of the trip is estimated at 350-400 euros (indicative).

The deadline for the submission of applications expires on Thursday 9 January 2020 at 23:59.
After you submit your application, an information meeting of those selected will follow regarding the details of the trip, so that we can book the hotel and the tickets in order to avoid further financial burdens.
