Myrto Stavridi: As a former participant in the competition and now a coach, I know first-hand the demanding nature of the process. It is not only the volume of work, hundreds of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, but also the teamwork itself that requires adaptability and solidarity. The team worked hard and made us all very proud!

Thanasis Christou: For me, taking part in the competition was an exhausting but also invigorating experience because of my great interest in human rights. Despite the volume of work and the great faith in the team’s dynamism and cooperation, I never expected that we would do so well and be distinguished!

Ioanna Varra: Nine months of work and the benefits, professionally and personally, are numerous. Throughout this time, you go from being a student to being a lawyer. The most interesting and unexpected thing, however, is that you also get life lessons. You meet capable people who guide and inspire you. From the moment you become a member of the team, you know that at the end of the process you will come out a winner, even if you do not win any official distinction; imagine, then, if you do!

Renia Vasilaki: The moot court is, undoubtedly, a milestone in the academic journey of all of us. Months of work, and the aim was always to achieve the best possible result so as not to disappoint the expectations of those who trusted us, but also because we ourselves had set high goals and were ready to make every possible effort to achieve them. It is wonderful to see our efforts rewarded!

Eirini Vosika: It is certainly an experience of a lifetime. It is an opportunity to get to know both legal science and oneself better. This is of course true of every moot court competition. But when the main aim is the defence of human rights, the journey becomes even more magical. It gains meaning and purpose.
