The event is officially held under the Auspices of the National Committee “Greece 2021” and aimed to bridge the two ends of modern Greek history – then and now – and at the same time to highlight the influence of the revolutionary element of changes on law and justice.
The discussion was preceded by thematic presentations by the speakers:
Aristides Hatzis – Professor of Philosophy of Law & Institutional Theory at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Member of the National Committee “Greece 2021” and Research Director at the Center for Liberal Studies (KEFiM).
Panagiotis Perakis – Vice-President of the CCBE (Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe), lawyer before the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos), DEA in IT Law and Legal Informatics.
The online discussion was open to the public via the Zoom Webinars platform, with parallel live broadcast via Facebook on the event page.
