We are pleased to announce the start of the cooperation of the ELSA Greece network with the NOMOS Legal Information Bank, which is widely regarded as the most authoritative and reliable means of legal information in our country.
NOMOS was founded in 1994 and is a legal database that gives access to the entirety of Greek legislation, a very wide part of Greek case law & legal scholarship, and facilitates the review of European legislation and case law, making it an indispensable tool for every lawyer. Its widespread use by the legal community, public administration, bar associations, the judiciary and legal entities of private and public law has established it as an authentic and original source of legal information!
NOMOS subscribers, without needing specialised computer skills, draw the information they need immediately, avoiding the hardship of hours-long or days-long, and often fruitless, searches in libraries, competent bodies, etc. Under the new cooperation, the Greek network of ELSA Greece will also enjoy the benefits of access to such a service, and will now be able to use NOMOS when preparing activities, publications and related programmes, as well as to support the students and members of the Network who take part in the above activities and competitions.
